Emily Ziemba is the Outreach Librarian at the UConn Health Sciences Library. She joined UConn in 2022 after serving as the Outreach and Instruction Librarian at the Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, CT. Before that, she worked in public middle school libraries throughout Connecticut beginning in 2014. Emily's professional interests include library outreach and promotion, engaging with students, creating welcoming library spaces that foster connection and well-being, maintaining the library's leisure reading collection, and organizing stress-relief programs such as the library's popular Doggo Friday events. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, singing, attending live music events, and reading with several book clubs.
