Rich serves as the Head of Systems and Technology, overseeing initiatives that enhance the library's digital services, systems, and user experience. He began his library career at UConn Health in 2012 as a part-time student assistant. While working at the library, he also worked as a Specialist at Apple Westfarms, further developing his passion for technology and customer service. Before joining the library, he interned at the Walt Disney World Resort, where he received world-class customer service training that continues to influence his approach to creating an exceptional user experience. His professional interests include using technology to improve workflows and services and authentic leadership. Outside of work, Rich enjoys exercising, trying new cold foams with iced coffee, and reading books about mental health and wellness.
